Day 3

AM

- had a good night and woke up in good spirits.

- read Jeremiah ch. 4

- mediport going in today.

- Oncologist explained the chemo medications that are starting today and the importance of being very conscious of bacteria and infections when being at home.

- strict hand hygiene is mandatory for all visitors and family members as any infection can delay treatment schedule

- if all goes well today he may have a slight chance of going home tomorrow evening. That was great news for us to hear. Be assured your prayers are working :)

NOON

- we are waiting in operating room getting the above mentioned procedure done.

- procedure went well he is still very tired from it.

PM

- started chemo today and resting now

- very rough day for all of us but God gave us the grace to pull through.
